What is Web Mail? Web mail is a tool in the form of a web page by
which to retrieve your e-mail. Web mail is convenient for users who are away from
their home PC but have Internet access somewhere else (possibly at work). GCR
Online web mail can be accessed from any Internet terminal around the world.
How Do I use Web Mail? It's simple! Enter
your username and password when prompted and select "Login." This will
connect you to your personal e-mail account. Users have the option to delete each
message; however, simply viewing each message in web mail will not erase the message from
the server until you retrieve it using your conventional e-mail software (Eudora,
Netscape, Internet Mail, Outlook, Pegasus etc).
How do I take advantage of this service? Access to
web mail comes with your Internet account. You may want to bookmark this web page
for quick and convenient access.
Helpful Tips:
If your e-mail address differs from your account name, i.e.-account
"jpublic" e-mail joepublic@gcronline.com,
please be sure to enter your account name upon entering web mail instead of your e-mail
address. If this applies to you, please click here
Always Log-Out when finished. Logging-Out of web mail ensures your
account will not be illegally accessed after you are finished reading and sending your
e-mail.
Attachments can be sent using web mail. Including an
attachment with your electronic message involves the same procedures as you currently
use with your conventional e-mail software.

If your account name differs from your e-mail address, please perform the below
steps. You will only need to do this once. Other than the "Name" and
"Default reply address" settings, all other settings should NOT be
altered.
